Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) is on track for antimony production to begin between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026, after receiving additional assay results supporting a favourable assessment of near-term production within the Treasure Creek Project in Alaska.

To date, 52 reverse circulation holes and 38 diamond holes have been completed, with drilling ongoing to extend and better define mineralisation. Antimony assays remain pending for 64 drillholes, while gold assays are pending for 90 holes.

The results from the NW Array prospect confirm down-dip extensions of surface mineralisation and continue to show the “strong” grades and continuity of antimony mineralisation at shallow depths.

Some of the latest include 5.87m @ 4.34% antimony from 54.08m, including two high-grade intervals up to 38% antimony.

Executive Director Joe Webb says the results validate the quality of its antimony discovery at Treasure Creek.

“We’ve lodged a permit amendment for a 1,600-tonne bulk sample targeting zones that metallurgical testing shows contain over 80% stibnite direct from the ground,” Webb says.

“Our processing flowsheet is elegantly simple: excavate, hand sort, bag. No crushing plants, no complex metallurgy – just direct-ship concentrate potentially exceeding military-grade specifications with very low capital expenditure.

“Simultaneously, we’re advancing the foundation for sustained operations – winter drilling continuing through the season, comprehensive environmental baseline studies underway, and targeting early Q1 2026 for multi-year permit submission.”

Felix Gold says there is a strategic opportunity from its project considered in December 2024, China banned antimony exports to the US.

With China controlling 85% of the global antimony processing and the US importing 100% of its antimony needs, Felix says this represents an unprecedented threat to US industrial supply chains.
